Lauren's Bio

Born in 1984 in Fairfax, Virginia. Has attended Calvary Road Christian Day School, Hayfield Elementary School, Mark Twain Intermediate School, Hayfield Secondary School and the College of William & Mary. Has received many honors throughout her K-12 school career, including student body elected positions of elementary school S. C. A. President, middle school Historian, Junior Class Vice President and Senior Class Vice President. At William & Mary, Lauren has enjoyed being both a contributing photographer and photo editor of the school newspaper, The Flat Hat.

Sporting and hobby interests have revolved around swimming in the Northern Virginia Swim League (N.V.S.L.) since age eight, swimming varsity for Hayfield Secondary School and managing varsity baseball for Hayfield Secondary School since freshman year. As an assistant coach for the Hayfield Seahawks in the N.V.S.L, Lauren enjoyed guiding the development of the team's younger swimmers. Having found great satisfaction and enjoyment with photography and photo processing during her junior year at Hayfield Secondary School, she continued in that art medium her senior year in both the second and third year levels concurrently.
